The protagonist of the story is Mohini who lost her mom and was in deep pain got some valuable lessons from a sadhu and learned many things and she becomes a person who loved to be powerful and learned witchcraft. Later she accepts her mistake and leads a life teaching lessons in the ashram to find inner peace. Everyone should read it because we all make mistakes but we should make peace with our past and accept what we have done and lead a peaceful life.

    The narration was so good and we can find Mrinal who was such a great personality and Ashok who committed mistakes thinking he is God and should punish others. All the characters in the story teach us something.

    This is such a superb read. How cotton was introduced in the world to different materials used in the textile industry and how the development and creating hybrids and different techniques used from history to geography and scientific aspects are covered about the humankind and how they evolved with this industry. I really loved the concept of math used for patterns explained and how the banking system was introduced, the innovations in textile, how a project that gave other results helped in the dying industry and how colonization and everything is interlinked. 

    This is a book on how human civilization and the clothing industry developed together and how the innovation made changes and improved the way of understanding and quality of the clothing.

    The narration was so good. The author has researched a lot and made a great effort to make this book on fabrics and civilizations. Each chapter was on each thing related to the clothing industry from fabrics,  dying, innovation...

Love Bytes

    The book is such an enjoyable read felt like a real conversation with the author. The way she narrated was so good. The journey has a lot of struggles and got a lot of experience and learned many things and she was courageous to overcome and be the way she is. There are some chapters the way the author speaks make you laugh thinking of yourselves. Her journey to various places made me think to visit them at least once.

Overall a short and sweet read.

 

The Long Night

     First of all the narration is so good explaining from the day of Zark how nations are divided and how they are interdependent and about the people in the different nations their culture and their way of living to the competition where everything changes as Anika, Dred, Mitali, Jarret, Scario reach the barren land and the way their life changes and become the saviors of the nations. I really felt bad for Jarret. Anika became a super magician. Scario got the evil energy and learned the spells of them to be on the good side. The story was interesting till the end and I wish there will be a second part as the Evil Queen said she will return.

The story takes you to a different world full of magic, courage, strength, and belief.

Makeda: The Queen of Sheba

 

    This is such a good read with illustrations. The way the story of Makeda was narrated was so good. From her childhood till she became queen to rule. My dream of taming wild animals as pets was shown in this book, Shaba and Samson was the lion and lioness who was with her and her support while she was killing the monstrous serpent. 

We can learn many things from Makeda, the way she cares for her family and the people of Sheba, her boldness, and the innovative ideas to solve problems when things fail to take responsibility and accepting the truth, and a confident girl.
